Clean, fresh water is a necessity for sheep. Water helps sheep flush toxins from their body, lubricates their joints, and regulates their body temperature.
Compared to other animals, sheep need less water, but it still must be good quality.
An insufficient water supply is harder on sheep than an insufficient food supply.
