Osorno has a long history in process control and automation. Since its development more than 25 years ago, the ControLogic™ concept has continually evolved as a control philosophy at the leading edge of technology. We have now established a new division within the Osorno Group - Osorno Automation - to focus on the future of process control and automation.

The Osorno Automation team provides a wide spectrum of process control and automation services. Our specialists are highly trained, highly experienced, and extremely innovative. We provide building control and automation, water and wastewater treatment plant automation, custom built SCADA systems, and system integration. Security is an important feature for our building control and automation systems. Our SCADA systems provide highly secure, high performing and very flexible solutions.

In harmony with Osorno's philosophy of strictly observing recognized standards, our automation team uses IEC 61131-3 compliant programming for PLCs.  We will not use PLCs for which only proprietary protocols are available. Osorno believes that vendor lock-in is not in the best interest of our clients. We support the latest XML extensions and vendor-independent activities such as AutomationML (Automation Markup Language).
